Insurance Claims for E36 & E46 Body Work
Body work on an insurance claim — the estimate, the adjuster, supplements and an invoice that splits what the insurer and you pay.
If your repair is an insurance claim, tell us when you book and bring the claim number. We write the estimate for the adjuster, send supplements when hidden damage turns up, and record the insurer’s answer on each one.
If you sign a direction to pay, the insurer can pay its share to us directly. The invoice shows the insurer’s share and yours, usually your deductible, and you see it on your private link.
Signs it needs doing
- You’ve opened a claim with your insurer
- The other driver’s insurer is paying
What the job covers
- Estimate written for the adjuster
- Supplements for hidden damage
- Direction to pay, if you want one
- An invoice split between insurer and you
What it costs
Every car is different at this age, so we price it once we have seen yours. You get a written estimate first and approve each job before we start; nothing is added without asking you.
