Additional damper, rear — a genuine BMW part, number 33 50 6 757 047. The number stamped on the part is 33506757047; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6757047. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Self-levelling suspension. BMW has since replaced it with 2290347.
It fits the E46 sedan and coupe (325i and 330i, 2001–2006), with the M54 or M56 engines.
BMW draws it on the Retrofit kit, Performance chassis (03_0068) diagram. BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 78 g (0.2 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Repair kit, aux. damper, protective tube (2290347).
