The number stamped on the part is 51148230782; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8230782. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Badges, information plates, adhes. film. It supersedes the older number 8122836, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan and touring (318i, 320i, 325i and 328i, 1992–1998), with the M40, M43, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Sticker Police, Fire-brigade, Paramedic (51_0907) and Sticker Police, Fire-brigade, Paramedic (51_3480). It weighs about 25 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
