Adjustable handle bar, heated grip — a genuine BMW part, number 32 71 2 331 014. The number stamped on the part is 32712331014; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2331014. It supersedes the older number 2313053, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on the Adjustable Handle Bar/Single Parts (32_0788) diagram. It weighs about 1.8 kg (4.0 lb).
