This is a genuine BMW adjusting plate, part number 11 34 7 832 284. The number stamped on the part is 11347832284; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7832284. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Valves with springs. It supersedes the older number 7832263, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 coupe and convertible (M3, 2001–2006), with the S54 engine.
