What's Included

Adjusting pulley — a genuine BMW part, number 11 28 2 245 087. The number stamped on the part is 11282245087; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2245087. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Other Engine parts. It supersedes the older number 1726699, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44 or S50 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 18 diagrams, among them Belt Drive-Air Pump/Climate Compressor (11_1327) and Belt Drive Climate Compressor (11_3579). It weighs about 260 g (0.6 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Installing Set Automatic Air Conditioner (9405891).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
