Genuine BMW part 11 71 2 244 536: Air reducer. The number stamped on the part is 11712244536; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2244536. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Exhaust-gas recirculation. It supersedes the older number 2243833, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan and touring (325td and 325tds, 1991–1996), with the M51 engine.
BMW draws it on 9 diagrams, among them Intake Manifold-Supercharg.Air Duct/Agr (11_1331) and Intake Manifold-Supercharg.Air Duct/Agr (11_1332). It weighs about 26 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Set Mounting Parts Short Engine (9066430).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
