Genuine BMW part 11 21 7 786 998: Alcan piston. The number stamped on the part is 11217786998; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7786998. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Crankshaft with bearing. It supersedes the older number 2247868, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E46 sedan and touring (330d, 1999–2001), with the M57 engine.
