Genuine BMW part 65 25 8 383 896: Amplifier, rear window antenna. The number stamped on the part is 65258383896; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8383896. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Amplifier. It supersedes the older number 8375775, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 compact (318ti, 1995–1999), with the M44 engine — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Single Parts F Rear Window Antenna (65_0213) diagram. It weighs about 327 g (0.7 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
