This is a genuine BMW BMW 6 CD changer AI, part number 65 12 6 946 990. The number stamped on the part is 65126946990; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6946990. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Radio, amplifier, CD player. It supersedes the older number 6913389, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on the CD Changer (65_0497) diagram. It weighs about 1.9 kg (4.3 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
