This is a genuine BMW bottom part with blower, part number 12 90 1 706 376. The number stamped on the part is 12901706376; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1706376. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 7831248, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1706388.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 890 g (2.0 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
