Genuine BMW part 11 12 1 720 496: Bracket. The number stamped on the part is 11121720496; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1720496. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Cylinder head with cover. It supersedes the older number 1715655, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1725907.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
