The number stamped on the part is 11282246725; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2246725. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Other Engine parts. It supersedes the older number 2245009, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan, touring and compact (318tds, 325td and 325tds, 1991–1996), with the M41 or M51 engines.
BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Belt Drive Water Pump/Alternator (11_1467) and Belt Drive Water Pump/Alternator (11_4915). It weighs about 267 g (0.6 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
