Bracket for right stabilizer bar — a genuine BMW part, number 33 55 6 779 492. The number stamped on the part is 33556779492; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6779492. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Other Rear Axle parts. It supersedes the older number 6753932, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Rear stabilizer bar/Dynamic Drive (33_1118) and Rear stabilizer bar/Dynamic Drive (33_1270). It weighs about 290 g (0.6 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Set rubber mounting/stabilizer bracket (0150518).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
