This is a genuine BMW bracket fuel pipe, part number 13 51 2 240 970. The number stamped on the part is 13512240970; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2240970. You will find it on our Air Intake shelf, under Injection pump, control part, mixture c.. It supersedes the older number 1288545, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 2242672.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on the Supporting bracket (13_1048) diagram. It weighs about 30 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
