This is a genuine BMW centering sleeve, part number 26 11 7 526 611. The number stamped on the part is 26117526611; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7526611. You will find it on our Drivetrain & Axle shelf, under Other Drive Shaft parts. It supersedes the older number 1207093, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 88 diagrams, among them Drive Shaft-Cent.Bearing-Universal Joint (26_0092) and Drive Shaft-Cen.Bearing-Const.Vel.Joint (26_0108). It weighs about 40 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Set of mount. parts for propeller shaft (0152422).
