This is a genuine BMW circul.sliding/lifting roof cover gasket, part number 54 12 1 903 725. The number stamped on the part is 54121903725; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1903725. You will find it on our Exterior Body shelf, under Other Sliding Roof / Folding Top parts. It supersedes the older number 1846530, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 8 diagrams, among them Slid.Lift. Roof-Cover/Ceiling Frame (54_0017) and Slid.Lift. Roof-Cover/Ceiling Frame (54_0023). It weighs about 325 g (0.7 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
