Genuine BMW part 51 49 8 123 832: Clip, black. The number stamped on the part is 51498123832; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8123832. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older numbers 0151605 and 8105999, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and compact (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i and 328i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 29 diagrams, among them Trunk trim panel (51_2043) and Trim panel, trunk lid (51_2181).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
