This is a genuine BMW clutch plate, part number 21 21 7 524 970. The number stamped on the part is 21217524970; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7524970. You will find it on our Clutch & Flywheel shelf, under Clutch with drive plate. It supersedes the older number 7519979, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 compact (323ti, 1997–1999), with the M52 engine. It also fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 6 diagrams, among them Clutch (21_0093) and Clutch (21_0140). It weighs about 960 g (2.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
