Genuine BMW part 33 33 1 126 136: Collar nut. The number stamped on the part is 33331126136; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1126136. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Other Rear Axle parts.

It fits the E36 compact (318ti, 1995–1999), with the M42 or M44 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 16 diagrams, among them Drive Shaft-Cen.Bearing-Const.Vel.Joint (26_0094) and Drive Shaft-Cen.Bearing-Const.Vel.Joint (26_0248). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 30 g (under 0.1 lb).
