Genuine BMW part 41 00 8 209 929: Column a with left rocker panel. The number stamped on the part is 41008209929; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8209929. You will find it on our Exterior Body shelf, under Other Bodywork parts. It supersedes the older numbers 8151919 and 8151927, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E36 coupe (318i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M42, M44, M50, M52, S50 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Single Components for Body-Side Frame (41_0046) diagram. It weighs about 15 kg (33 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
