This is a genuine BMW column a with right rocker panel, part number 41 00 8 209 930. The number stamped on the part is 41008209930; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8209930. You will find it on our Exterior Body shelf, under Other Bodywork parts. It supersedes the older numbers 8151920 and 8151928, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E36 coupe (318i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M42, M44, M50, M52, S50 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Single Components for Body-Side Frame (41_0046) diagram. It weighs about 15 kg (33 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
