-- View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW cover, part number 32 41 1 120 722. The number stamped on the part is 32411120722; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1120722. You will find it on our Steering shelf, under Other Steering parts. It supersedes the older number 1105166, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1121836.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on the Oil carrier / Single parts (32_0082) diagram. It weighs about 145 g (0.3 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
