This is a genuine BMW cover positive battery terminal, part number 61 21 1 385 139. The number stamped on the part is 61211385139; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1385139. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Battery with holder. It supersedes the older number 1373182, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 compact (318ti, 1995–1999), with the M42 or M44 engines — and the European-market versions. It also fits the E46 sedan (320i and 325i, 2001–2005), with the M54 engine — and the European-market versions.
