Genuine BMW part 61 31 8 357 676: Covering for fog beam switch. The number stamped on the part is 61318357676; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8357676. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Switch. It supersedes the older number 8354488, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan and coupe (318i, 320i, 325i and 328i, 1992–1999), with the M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them I-panel with co-driver airbag (51_4082) and Various switches (61_0063). It weighs about 2 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
