The number stamped on the part is 11157501567; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7501567. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Crankcase ventilation. It supersedes the older number 1247133, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i and 318ti, 1992–1999), with the M42, M43 or M44 engines — and the European-market versions. It also fits the E46 sedan, coupe and touring (316i, 316i 1.6, 316i 1.9 and 318i, 1997–2001), with the M43 engine.
BMW draws it on 8 diagrams, among them Crankcase-Ventilation (11_1383) and Cylinder head cover (11_1408). It weighs about 40 g (under 0.1 lb).
