The number stamped on the part is 33411095768; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1095768. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Other Rear Axle parts. It supersedes the older number 1139631, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 compact (318ti, 1995–1999), with the M42 or M44 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Side Shaft/Wheel Bearings (33_1966) diagram. BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 1.8 kg (4.0 lb).
