What's Included

This is a genuine BMW drying container, part number 64 53 8 372 977. The number stamped on the part is 64538372977; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8372977. You will find it on our AC & Climate Control shelf, under Other Heater and Air Conditioning parts. It supersedes the older number 8391313, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 14 diagrams, among them "Economic"aircond. syst. single parts II (03_1964) and "Economic"aircond. syst. single parts II (03_1965). It weighs about 724 g (1.6 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Installing Set Automatic Air Conditioner (9405891).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
