Earth cable, flow heater, electr — a genuine BMW part, number 12 51 3 451 658. The number stamped on the part is 12513451658; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 3451658. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Engine wiring harness. It supersedes the older number 6919584, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (330d, 2003–2005), with the M57N engine.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Cable flow heater / Auxiliary heater (61_1727) and Cable flow heater / Auxiliary heater (61_1796). It weighs about 70 g (0.2 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
