This is a genuine BMW emergency mechanism parking lock, part number 24 50 7 573 345. The number stamped on the part is 24507573345; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7573345. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 7509050, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on the Emergency release (24_1017) diagram. It weighs about 400 g (0.9 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
