Engine wiring harness DME — a genuine BMW part, number 12 51 1 247 089. The number stamped on the part is 12511247089; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1247089. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Engine wiring harness. It supersedes the older number 1737798, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan and coupe (318i, 1992–1999), with the M42 engine.

BMW draws it on the Engine wiring harness (12_0393) diagram. It weighs about 3.8 kg (8.3 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
