Genuine BMW Part

This is a genuine BMW audio system controller CD (exchange unit), part number 65 12 6 942 466. The number stamped on the part is 65126942466; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6942466. BMW's catalog calls it “Exch. audio system controller CD”. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Radio, amplifier, CD player. It supersedes the older number 6939015, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 6946475.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

It weighs about 1.1 kg (2.5 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
