01 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW automatic transmission EH (exchange unit), part number 24 00 7 544 599. The number stamped on the part is 24007544599; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7544599. BMW's catalog calls it “Exch. automatic transmission EH”. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 7535832, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on the Automatic gearbox GA6HP26Z (24_1016) diagram. It weighs about 83 kg (183 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
