Genuine BMW part 65 90 6 908 313: Navigation CD computer (exchange unit). The number stamped on the part is 65906908313; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6908313. BMW's catalog calls it “Exch Navigation CD Computer”. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Navigation systems. It supersedes the older number 8378168, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E46 sedan (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and 330i, 1999–2005), with the M52 or M54 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Navigation System/Video Module (65_0278) and Navigation System/Video Module (65_0448). It weighs about 1.6 kg (3.4 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
