Carburetor (exchange unit) — a genuine BMW part, number 13 11 1 265 380. The number stamped on the part is 13111265380; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1265380. BMW's catalog calls it “Exchange-Carburetor”. It supersedes the older number 1262763, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1269469.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 3.2 kg (7.1 lb).
