This is a genuine BMW exchange radio BMW Basic CD, part number 65 12 9 115 658. The number stamped on the part is 65129115658; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9115658. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Radio, amplifier, CD player. It supersedes the older number 6945767, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 9136410.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on the Radio BMW Basic CD (65_1205) diagram. It weighs about 1.4 kg (3.0 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
