The number stamped on the part is 11002288249; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2288249. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Other Engine parts. It supersedes the older numbers 2288251, 2352745 and 2352747, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 2420337.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on the Short Engine (11_4758) diagram.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
