Genuine BMW part 63 12 8 374 671: Expanding nut. The number stamped on the part is 63128374671; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8374671. You will find it on our Lighting shelf, under Headlight.

It fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 16 diagrams, among them Cooling water expansion tank (17_0272) and Trim panel, cowl panel, exterior (51_6542). BMW's catalog calls for four of these at each place it is fitted.
