The number stamped on the part is 51161881149; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1881149. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Mirrors, trims, storage compartments. It supersedes the older numbers 0154946, 1712256 and 1940356, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i and 328i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 143 diagrams, among them Bumper aerial retrofit kit (03_3082) and Side panel, front (41_1098). It also comes in BMW kits Install.kit, independent heater (0140304) and Power kit with FSC (2157665) and 13 more.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
