Felt strip — a genuine BMW part, number 07 14 9 199 575. The number stamped on the part is 07149199575; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9199575. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 14. It supersedes the older numbers 1957633, 6957914 and 9184486, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 18 diagrams, among them Trunk Lid/Closing System (41_2119) and Trim panel dashboard (51_0948). It also comes in BMW kits Retrofit Digital TV (2185783) and Retrofit kit picnic tables - S1 (2211179) and 2 more.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
