This is a genuine BMW filler cap without lock, part number 16 11 1 184 718. The number stamped on the part is 16111184718; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1184718. You will find it on our Fuel System shelf, under Fuel tank with filler pipe.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
