This is a genuine BMW folding top compartment lid, part number 41 63 7 009 564. The number stamped on the part is 41637009564; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7009564. You will find it on our Exterior Body shelf, under Other Bodywork parts. It supersedes the older number 7136198, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on the Folding top compartment lid (41_1567) diagram. It weighs about 11 kg (25 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
