This is a genuine BMW frame sliding-lifting roof complete, part number 54 12 8 206 387. The number stamped on the part is 54128206387; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8206387. You will find it on our Exterior Body shelf, under Other Sliding Roof / Folding Top parts. It supersedes the older number 8193107, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 coupe (318i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M42, M44, M50, M52, S50 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Sliding Lifting Roof Frame (54_0190) and Sliding Lifting Roof Frame (54_0191). It weighs about 6.9 kg (15 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
