Front left seal.betw.door and roof frame — a genuine BMW part, number 51 21 8 254 529. The number stamped on the part is 51218254529; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8254529. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older numbers 8159805 and 8226861, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7010171.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 136 g (0.3 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
