Genuine BMW part 13 32 1 268 231: Fuel filter. The number stamped on the part is 13321268231; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1268231. You will find it on our Air Intake shelf, under Other Fuel preparation and control parts. It supersedes the older number 1270038, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe and convertible (320i, 325i and M3, 1992–1995), with the M50 or S50 engines.

BMW draws it on the Fuel Supply/Filter (13_0362) diagram. It weighs about 220 g (0.5 lb).
