This is a genuine BMW fuel hose, part number 16 12 7 175 977. The number stamped on the part is 16127175977; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7175977. You will find it on our Fuel System shelf, under Lines. It supersedes the older number 1182826, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe and convertible (318i, 320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M42, M44, M50, M52, S50 or S52 engines. It also fits the E46 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52 or M54 engines — and the European-market versions.
