Genuine BMW part 64 12 2 298 284: Fuel pipe. The number stamped on the part is 64122298284; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2298284. You will find it on our AC & Climate Control shelf, under Other Heater and Air Conditioning parts. It supersedes the older number 9415901, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on the Single parts f independent heating (03_0911) diagram. It also comes in BMW kits Installing Set Independ.Heater/Ventilat (0137537) and Install.kit, independent heater (0415948) and 24 more.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
