Gasket — a genuine BMW part, number 11 12 7 837 025. The number stamped on the part is 11127837025; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7837025. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Cylinder head with cover. It supersedes the older number 7831860, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 coupe and convertible (M3, 2001–2006), with the S54 engine.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Cylinder head cover (11_2995) and Cylinder head cover (11_6254). It also comes in BMW kit Gasket set cylinder head asbestos free (7831920).
