This is a genuine BMW gasket ring, part number 64 50 8 390 602. The number stamped on the part is 64508390602; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8390602. You will find it on our AC & Climate Control shelf, under Compressor, magnetic clutch. It supersedes the older numbers 0392934 and 1363571, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 81 diagrams, among them Drying Container/Small Parts (64_0163) and Heater Radiator/Evaporator/Wden Cable (64_0555). It also comes in BMW kits Installing set air conditioning (0008718) and Installing Set Automatic Air Conditioner (9405891) and 1 more.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
