Gasket ring asbesto-free — a genuine BMW part, number 18 11 1 723 720. The number stamped on the part is 18111723720; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1723720. You will find it on our Exhaust shelf, under Other Exhaust system parts. BMW has since replaced it with 1723721.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M50, M52, S50 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions.
